Health and Safety @ The P&M Group

More than 1.6 MILLION man hours since the last RIDDOR

At The P&M Group we are proud of the interest and commitment our employees show towards Health and Safety in their workplace. In conjunction with our approved subcontractors, all have delivered an excellent safety performance this month.

Our ability to continue providing safe, clean, friendly working environments is down to the relationships created with the health and safety teams of our clients. This collaborative working helps to reinforce and maintain our standards.

Our own safety team [between them] have many years’ experience, varying from high risk to high complexity. Our team are the first to admit that the key to good safety is coordinating with their colleagues – being able to understand the client remit, consider the potential risks and advise the most suitable ways of delivering projects safely and on time.

The day-to-day responsibility of health and safety on our sites is shared by all involved, including our project managers, site managers and supervisors. This responsibility is crucial for the safety of not only their own but everyone else.

Achievements recognised this month…

✔️More than 1.6 million man hours since the last RIDDOR-reportable accident

✔️No HSE prosecutions, improvement or prohibited notices

✔️No environmental breaches or prosecutions

With no major errors or faults, our Group Safety Team can continue to drive for even higher standards within the company.
